Words said cannot be taken back. We can say sorry, pretend that it's ok. But the damage is done, the scar is there. Time may heal, things may fade, but it still happened, at one time, we still felt what we felt - anger, regret, disappointed and nothing can change that, no matter how hard we try to hide it, to forget it. The ones hurt will remember it, burying it deep down in their hearts. And often, the one that did it.
So then, what can we do? The clock will continue to tick, life goes on. Perhaps, we might feel more awkward, more distance. We pray silently that miracle will happen - that, suddenly, none of us remember anything. Or we could turn back time and stop whatever happened - only, if time machines exist! (or whatever you people use to turn back time.)
Hence, silent, I remain. Tongue-tied, anger filled. Still, I dare not to fight back, to voice out. It was me who did wrong. I'm that coward that will not admit my wrong in your face. I'm too thick-skinned, too stubborn to take in any negative comment. Perhaps, I need a change.

Yalo. That's reality.
I agree.
Time does not heal completely. Those who can forgive and forget completely deserve an award.
